About BritCheerApparel®

BritCheerApparel® was started up in August 2011, by Lizy McFetridge.

While studying for her degree in costume and set design at the Arts Institute in Bournemouth, she joined the university cheerleading team, Bournemouth Bright Stars, and quickly developed a passion for the sport.

Spotting a gap in the market for handcrafted bows, BritCheerApparel® was born!

After allowing the business to quieten down between 2020-2026 to focus on her family, August 2026 is when BritCheerApparel® comes back to life! 15 years after its conception.

I look forward to welcoming clients old and new, on this exciting new chapter for BritCheerApparel®
